2026 CWA National Presidents' Meeting

Hello Everyone! During the June membership meeting a detailed report was given on the recent CWA National Presidents meeting. Here is an overview - CWA hosted the annual Presidents meeting in DCA on 06/01/2026. Attendees included the National Executive Board, National Committee Members, District VP’s, Local presidents, and guests. During the meeting CWA President Claude Cummings Jr. gave a speech about CWA, Organizing, and the continued fight for Unions. A budget was created by the Finance Committee with a motion to accept it. In addition to the credentials committee presenting the total delegates seated for the meeting. An appeal from a CWA Local was heard and the delegates voted not to take it to arbitration. 

After the Presidents meeting there were breakout meetings for District 3 and The Passenger Services which included the District VP - Richard Honeycutt and Local Union leadership. These meetings included discussions about issues with Company Management, concerns among CWA, CWA training, active Bargaining, and current events including the upcoming 2nd Airline Convention.

Overall, there was an abundant amount of information and movement made on common issues.
